Mark Legassick is a singer/songwriter and producer from Plymouth UK. Since 2008 he has released three EPs and a full length album. He performs under the Stage name Howlin' Lord. He is known for a fiercley pragmatic approach to recording and performing, working mainly from his own studio in his adopted home of Bristol he releases through Little Paradise Records.
Psych-Rock, Soul, Honky-Tonk and Folk music traditional and leftfield are the tributaries that feed the Howlin' Lord sound which manages to defy genre yet sound instantly familiar. Well crafted songs that lyrically pull no punches, rest on a foundation of solid musicianship from a tried and tested rock'n'roll band.
