The Creature Comfort

Darkly surreal, provocative and enigmatically brilliant, The Creature Comfort play a type of alternative rock that is hard to pin down and always mesmerising.

The band formed after singer, continental hippie and eternal outsider Ben Le Jeune arrived in Manchester UK and found some like-minded musicians to develop their illuminated psych rock sound. This led to early adoption by the Stone Roses manager and to learning their chops at the feet of greats like Gun Club and Mudhoney. All this was prior to a tragic hiatus as the millennium approached and from which the band has emerged, now even more on fire.

A debut album released in 2013 was enthusiastically received by their thousands of fans around the world, gaining airplay including 6Music, XFM, BBC Radio London. A second album mixed at Manchester's famous Blueprint Studios (Elbow, The Fall, Johnny Marr) is now being prepared for release via Missing Door / AWAL.

The band have spent the past couple of years showcasing their new songs at festivals and concerts in the Manchester region, gaining new fans and enthusiastic support from musical celebrities such as US garage rock legends The Sonics, Badly Drawn Boy, The Blinders and John Robb (Louder Than War editor and punk veteran) who has likened them to Joy Division, Stone Roses, Oasis.

The Creature Comfort are: Ben Le Jeune (vocals), Brad Ingham (bass), Christian Payne (drums), Jose Ortega (guitar), Paul Hesketh (guitar), Steven K Jones (guitar).

Dog of Man

Dog of Man are a Brighton-based psyche punk/alt rock band who love to make music and play shows in dirty house parties and at cult gatherings.

Dog of Man bring the sound of the filth-stricken basement, fizzing electric accordion and angular guitar together in a glorious cacophony of bitcrushed, ambient and melodic acid-punk that will leave your jaw hanging beside your pasty white ankles.

Ham Legion

Bursting with beaming up beat power pop, grinding grunge outbursts and dramatic changes of mood. Ham Legion's compact mini-epics dive through sudden passages of twisting, complex prog, to the Englishness of 60s pop, punk, new wave and then lapse into moments of restrained delivery and somber reflection. A bizarre but compelling mish-mash of styles and influences in bite sized chunks.
