"Midlands based cow punk skiffle group, Terry & Gerry recorded several sessions for John Peel's radio show, mid 80s. They made an LP, 6 singles, toured the UK, Europe, America and appeared on The Tube & The Old Grey Whistle Test. Reformed in 2014, they've played all over the UK and supported the legendary Status Quo on their acoustic tour. As energetic and vibrant as ever they continue to chronicle people's lives from the city they love, Birmingham.

Birmingham based cult skiffle cow-punk band Terry and Gerry reformed for a tour in Oct/ Nov 2014. John Peel promoted them when he picked out their demo tape because his wife's best friends were also known as Terry and Gerry. They recorded four sessions for Peelie and got a fond mention in his autobiography.
The mid-80s 4 piece released 6 singles and an LP 'From Lubbock to Clintwood East': Each went to Number One in the indie charts. The band toured extensively, gathering fans from Joe Strummer to Shane MacGowan. They appeared on radio and TV, including sessions for The Old Grey Whistle Test and The Tube. They wrote theme tunes for Central TV and were the subject of a documentary by film maker Norman Hull.
