Real Music Club - Tim Smith (Cardiacs) Benefit Gig

This event has been and gone.

As many of you will be aware, Tim Smith, the leader and frontman of the utterly unique Cardiacs, suffered a heart attack and stroke in June 2008 which has left him hospitalised and requiring full time care.

The eccentric genius of Cardiacs, described as “enthralling”, “exhausting”, even “disturbing”, has been very dear to the Real Music Club over the years. We have proudly presented many friends and members of the band in their various forms, and we were honoured to host a successful benefit show for Tim back in March 2013.

We felt it was high time we held a second benefit to raise funds towards the costs of Tim’s ongoing care and rehabilitation.

The line-up has been expertly crafted with the help of Bic Hayes (Cardiacs, Dark Star, Levitation, ZOFFF and many more).
