Expect fizzing electric accordion and angular guitar together in a glorious cacophony of bitcrushed, ambient and melodic acid-punk that will leave your jaw hanging beside your pasty white ankles.

The Syamisenist

Driven by the fierce improvisation and call and response playing style of the Tsugaru shamisen, the group compose progressive, emotionally driven songs from the fusion of traditional shamisen and rock music. Their electric performances in live houses across Tokyo have attracted fans from a range of backgrounds and become a talking point within a broad range of music scenes.
