The Hidden Colour - Album Launch
The Galleons are launching their new album at the beautiful St Mary's Church in Brighton.
They will be playing all of the songs from their new album 'The Hidden Colour' with help from Patrick Harrex and the 60ish strong Brighton and Hove Arts Orchestra.
The orchestra will also be playing music you will most likely know by Prokofiev and Erik Satie.
The enchanting Hickory Signals will be kicking the evening off and to tie everything together Joe Dunthorne will be weaving some well chosen words. Joe is the author of Submarine, Wild Abandon, many wonderful poems, Radio 4 features and a new novel (which he is keeping very much top secret despite some determined interrogation). So you're in good hands.
They're also making a beer with the brilliant Donwlands Brewery as part of the very reasonably priced bar. Last time the ale was so good it sold out in just over an hour!
There will also be exhibitions by local artists in what is one of the most beautiful buildings in Brighton.
They hope to see you there.
