Handel’s greatly loved work about love, loss, power and courage should perhaps be renamed Galatea and Acis, for it is Galatea’s suffering, bravery and fortitude that dominate this pastoral story and make her another great heroine! This performance will be headed by a cast of young soloists. Directed by John Hancorn.
