Moving from Oxford to London to Ireland to Australia, the duo of Tom Kingston and Joe Wilson didn’t slack on inspiration for their creations under the name Solomon Grey.

Originally taking inspiration from the likes of James Murphy and Little Dragon, the pair returned to London in 2013, releasing their debut single on the exceptional Black Butter label. A mix of falsetto vocal, expanding synths, and scattering beats, Gen V won support across the board from BBC Radio to sites like The Line Of Best Fit.
