The Merry Wives Of Windsor
What better entertainment could there be on a summers' eve than to picnic in the open air in the company of one of Shakespeare’s best-loved characters, Falstaff!
This light-hearted romp lands the eponymous hero in hot water with the wives of genteel Windsor whose ingenious use of a set of antlers, a jealous husband and a laundry basket leads to Falstaff’s hilarious comeuppance.
Starring BBC Radio 4 regular David Mounfield as Sir John Falstaff.
