Euphoria Steel Band, Rachel Hayward

Join the south’s only pan-round neck steel band for a programme of celebratory music from the Caribbean and beyond.

Euphoria is a regular feature at Brighton’s Children’s Parade and Burning the Clocks as well as performing at Pride and bonfire society parades.

They are also in demand in more formal settings such as the Hailsham Arts Festival and Horsham Garden Festival where they play a mixture of Trinidadian and Jamaican calypso and ska along with hits by Eddie Grant and others.

Euphoria is led by Rachel Hayward, UK champion with 30 years experience in the field, who will also be giving a rare performance of a mixture of classical and other acoustic solos on pan.
