Live at Brighton Dome returns in October for another evening of comedy in their iconic Concert Hall with Nina Conti, Lou Sanders and Angela Barnes (MC).

Ground-breaking ventriloquist Nina is a star of BBC's Live at the Apollo, QI and HBO's Family Tree. Nina began her career as an actress at the Royal Shakespeare Company, before the genius and anarchic theatre director Ken Campbell inspired her to become a ventriloquist. In 2008 she won the prestigious Barry Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for her solo show Complete and Utter Conti. In 2010, Talk to the Hand had sell out seasons in Edinburgh, London, Melbourne, the Sydney Opera House and New York. Lou Sanders appearing at this event

Lou Sanders surrealist style and high octane stage presence make her a joy to watch. She has appeared on ‘Alan Davies As Yet Untitled’, and starred in ‘Live from the BBC’. Her TV stand-up includes sets on ABC1’s ‘Comedy Up Late’ and ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’. Lou has written for ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’, ‘Mock the Week’, ‘Stand Up for the Week’ and ‘Miranda’. Angela Barnes

Angela Barnes appearing at this event

Before becoming a comedian, Angela worked in health and social care. In 2011, she won the BBC New Comedy Award and became a finalist at the 2011 Latitude Festival New Act of the Year competition. Since then Angela has become a regular on BBC’s The News Quiz, Newsjack and Mock The Week. She has also appeared on BBC Three’s Russell Howard’s Good News, Russell Kane’s Whistle Stop Tour (BBC Radio 2), and BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show. “Feels like a sure-fire bet the instant she utters her opening lines.” (The Scotsman). “The pace is fast, the material strong and the delivery perfect” (Chortle). “She’s just a gloriously down-to-earth, straight-talking and extremely funny comic” (The Guardian). Glenn Moore

Glenn Moore appearing at this event

Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Glenn Moore is a comedian, actor and one of the best and most prolific joke writers in the country. Glenn is a regular face on TV, having appeared on Mock The Week (BBC), Rob Delaney’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) and The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2). He is a staff writer on CITV’s sketch comedy show Scrambled, and has written for BBC’s The Mash Report, Play To The Whistle, and Russell Howard’s Good News. He’s also known for his silly, off-beat one-liners on Twitter, which have earned him a huge following.
