Brahms Schicksalslied (Song of Destiny)
Brahms Ein Deutsches Requiem Op.45

Brighton Festival Chorus joins forces with Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra and guest soloists Sarah Tynan and Leigh Melrose to perform Brahms' longest work Ein Deutches Requiem. Brahms himself conducted its hugely successful first performance in 1868, marking a turning point in his career. Schicksalslied is considered, along with Ein Deutches Requiem, one of Brahms' finest choral works; first performed in 1870, it is also his shortest.
