The ancient carved stones of Ewenny Priory provide a perfect backdrop for this solo recital by Alice Neary which includes David Lang’s evocative and compelling world to come. Written in the aftermath of the tumultuous events of 9/11. Lang describes the work as a “kind of prayer – a meditation on hope and hopelessness”.
