Bang Bang Kiss Kiss
Every winter from 1952 to 1964, Ian Fleming flew to Goldeneye, his house in Jamaica, and wrote a James Bond book: fourteen in all. Often he was joined by his wife Ann, and sometimes by their son Caspar. Noël Coward, who lived a few miles along the coast, was a frequent visitor, always full of wit, advice and criticism.
Was Jamaica paradise or purgatory for them? How far is Bond a version of Fleming? Set in Jamaica, Bang Bang Kiss Kiss explores the stormy relationships and the shocking outcome that accompanied the writing of the books.
