Godthrymm

Powerhouse heavy doom metal trio Godthrymm formed in 2018, consisting of veterans of the U.K. metal scene with a desire to create honest crushing heartfelt riff heavy music, in a stripped-down no-nonsense amp heavy power trio format. Since then they have played headlining shows up and down the UK, supported such heavyweights as Paradise Lost and Pallbearer, and made festival appearances including Bloodstock and In Flammen.

Godthrymm is;

Hamish Glencross (Ex-My Dying Bride, Vallenfyre) - guitar & vocals
Danny Lambert (Hellbound Hearts) - bass & vocals
Shaun “Winter” Taylor-Steels (ex-My Dying Bride) - drums

Whilst awaiting confirmation of a deal for their debut album, they did a “live-in-the-Studio” video session with producer Nathan Bailey, with their video “We Are The Dead” being premiered by Decibel Magazine, and played on TotalRock radio. In April, they announced that they are to release a three track CD EP entitled “Dead In The Studio” consisting of the audio of the three songs recorded live in the studio. One take, no overdubs, no messing. Completed with stunning cover art from Brian D’Agosta (Vallenfyre, Implore).

Godthrymm continue to take bookings for their emotive live shows and intend to record their debut album in July of this year.
