Expect riotous amounts of energy and a great deal of laughter in this bicycle-powered production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing.
A group of soldiers return from the war to a household in Messina, causing the kindling of new love interests and the re-kindling of old rivalries. There’s plotting, frivolity and cross-dressing a plenty.
The world’s first cycling theatre company, The HandleBards, pedals from venue to venue with all the set, props and costume necessary to perform environmentally sustainable Shakespeare across the globe.
One of a series of plays performed outside, as the summer sun sets, in our intimate amphitheatre in the woods. Bring a chair or cushion, a picnic to dig into and a blanket so you can snuggle up under the stars. Dress for the ‘hopefully’ warm weather.
