Now a Channel 4 Blaps series, Max & Ivan: The Reunion (Fri 15 June, 7.45pm) (BBC Two's W1A, Radio 4's The Casebook of Max & Ivan) reprise their critically lauded, Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated show for one night only. A bewitching narrative sketch comedy tale of love, loss and shatterproof rulers.

Max and Ivan are the must-see sketch duo in UK comedy. They have starred in the BBC’s hit comedy W1A, Matt Lucas’s Pompidou and created two series of The Casebook of Max and Ivan for BBC Radio 4, which guest-starred Reece Shearsmith, Matt Lucas, Jessica Hynes, Joanna Lumley, amongst others and received rave reviews, and was BBC Radio 4 Pick of the Year.

The duo – Max Olesker and Ivan Gonzalez - were nominated for the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Best Show Award 2013 for The Reunion – the only sketch act to be shortlisted. On the show, The Daily Telegraph wrote that it ‘recalls the verbal invention and dark surrealism of The League of Gentlemen’, The Times added it was ‘ingenious, amusing and it dare[d] to have a heart too’, The Independent surmised that ‘by the time the feel-good ending hits, it's impossible to stop beaming. A joyous hour’ and The Guardian concluded that ‘Max and Ivan are the real deal’.

They have performed to acclaim all over the world, including at SXSW and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival - where they have staged The Wrestling (secured the Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award Panel Prize in 2011) and received a Barry nomination for Most Outstanding Show (Con Artists).
