The DB Smith Band, The Bad Caps

DB Smith is a songwriter and blues guitarist who has been playing since the '70s, both under his own name and as a sideman for other artists. He has released a number of albums in that time, and has frequently appeared at Blues Festivals, including the Nationals at Colne and most recently the Gloucester Blues Festival where he is a bit of a fixture being relatively local to the City. He has also played extensively on the country music circuit, including a spell as musical director for Don Farden.

There is a website - www.dbsmithband.co.uk - that is under construction at the moment but will be online shortly to coincide with the release of the album.

The Bad Caps are a great new and interesting local band back for their second appearance at The Queens.
