What follows is a humorous, fastpaced parade of scenes and characters, from a hilarious Wild West heist and a James Bond chase to the joys of inner-city commuting, through a breathtaking blend of parkour, dance and theatre.
Steam has been co-commissioned by Pavilion Dance South West, South East Dance and The Civic, Barnsley.
About The Urban Playground Team:
The UPG Team are the original Performance-Parkour (2PK) company, combining contemporary & urban dance with Parkour and physical theatre since 2006. Touring across four continents for clients including the National Theatre and the British Council, LOCOG, the Without Walls Outdoor Performance Consortium and numerous festivals.
