3D and real-live dancers performing together - can you tell the difference?

In this intriguing double bill the dancers share the restricted performing space of a quarter of a square metre with the visual world of German artist Silke Mansholt.

Jenseits takes place on two vertical (virtual) ladders. On the one hand they symbolise transition and death (Jenseits, the other side, beyond, refers to the afterlife in German), but at the same time they also function choreographically by defining the spaces inhabited by the dancers.

Dark Rain is a fast moving stylised performance featuring stroboscopic flashing images and accompanied by a dramatic and loud score of Japanese drumming.
