The Coastal Comedy Show

Coastal Comedy are Gold Award Winners for the Night Time Award as part of BH Stars 2019 giving us recognition as the best night out in the Bournemouth and Poole area and this show offers a fantastic line-up with something for everyone!

One of Britain's most subversive and intelligent comedians, Andrew Lawrence, has been the winner of many awards and nominations for his comedy including winning The BBC New Comedy Award, and being twice nominated for The Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award. On television he has appeared on Live At The Apollo, The Michael McIntyre Comedy Roadshow, Dave's One Night Stand and as a regular on Stand Up For The Week.

Andrew can regularly be seen live touring around the UK, as well as a at the Edinburgh fringe festival and you can see him live at Hotel Celebrity in our superbly intimate setting.

Opening the show is the incredibly talented Ria Lina who's charm and intelligence allow her to get away with anything from the most audacious routines to subtle wordplay.

Ria is Winner of Best Comedy Show at the Greater Manchester Fringe and Nominated for the Amused Moose Laughter Awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and we are excited to bring her to Bournemouth.

Also there's a special appearance as we welcome back JennyBSide winner of our Gong Show! JennyBSide brings Gender Fluid Musical Comedy to Bournemouth with full force.

Quickfire songs that combine her own brand of Trollopop with a sprinkle of Minchin and a dash of darkness to desensitise. Joyously wrong and contrary to popular belief not a Drag Act.
