What Can Tracking The Eyes Tell Us About Reading, Writing And Dyslexia?

Dyslexia affects between 10 to 20% of the population and is considered a hereditary neurological disorder.

However, there remains no single unified theoretical account of dyslexia, which almost certainly reflects the diverse nature of this reading disorder. The reality is that a variety of cognitive processes involved in reading may be causally linked to reading difficulties.

By exploring the benefits of eye tracking technology, we explore new methods of supporting children’s reading and writing development, and provide answers to common questions about skilled reading.to read.

By recording children’s eye movements we gain new insight into supporting children’s language and literacy development, as well understanding common questions about skilled reading.
