Smart Tourism

This event addresses the issues, challenges and trends of smart tourism, which takes advantage of technology to provide services and products of value to all involved.

This interactive workshop will discuss the principles of smart tourism and how they can be applied in a real-life context.

The workshop is co-organised with Bournemouth Tourism and will bring together academic research by the eTourism Lab at Bournemouth University and professional practice to explore how tourist destinations can take advantage of emergent technologies.
