Following the success of their previous Talking Heads Programme in August 2014 Dorset based ImpAct Theatre is proud to be bringing another evening of three of Alan Bennett’s acclaimed Talking Heads to local venues in June.

The show will feature three of the great playwright’s poignantly comic pieces, each performed by a single actor. The series was originally written for television in the late 80’s, though theatre performances, including a West End run directed by Bennett himself, have been staged since 1992.

Alan Bennett is widely regarded as one of the greatest stage and screen writers, with award-winning The History Boys and The Madness of King George among his best known works.

ImpAct Theatre will be presenting three pieces from the Talking Heads’ collection: A Woman of No Importance, A Chip in the Sugar and Soldiering On, all of these directed by Patricia Richardson.
