Join Joanne & The Band as they celebrate the great American song book. From Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra to Judy Garland, Liza Minelli and Billy Joel.

An evening of swinging tunes and great songs!

Joanne started her career as a dancer but after six years 'treading the boards' decided to concentrate on singing and acting, soon developing a much sought after cabaret act, which has taken her around the world, as well as all over the UK. She has cruised for all the major cruise companies and was proud to perform on Canberra's final voyage for P&O, alongside Gerard Kenny and Tom O'Connor.

She has topped the bill at the five star casinos in Funchal, Madeira and The Algarve, as well as venues closer to home, such as The London Rooms, Dury Lane.

One of the highlights of her career was being asked by Combined Services Entertainment to fly around the world to entertain the British and UN troops in countries such as The Falkland Islands and Northern Island.

Her work has included UK tours supporting artistes such as Jim Davidson and Bob Monkhouse, musical theatre playing the lead in productions such as 'Hello Dolly' and 'Dames at Sea' and many pantomimes and musical revues.

Joanne's last appearance at Blackfriars Arts Centre was fronting The Fanfare Big Band. But now she is excited to be bringing her own show to the Blackfriars stage, accompanied by some of the best musicians in the county.
