"We open our 2018 season with a fantastic selection of symphonic music. The famous theme from the film 2001 A Space Odyssey opens the programme and we take a tour through the musical byways including a selection of tunes from well know cartoons, a hooked-on classics version of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with guest leader Nadine Artuhanava performing the solo, the theme to Star Trek into Darkness and completing the programme a selection from the ever-popular Hansel and Gretel by Humperdinck. This concert has it all!"
