The RNCM is at the forefront of conductor training globally. Recent graduates of the Masters and Junior Fellowshipprogrammes have gone on to have hugely successfulcareers working with orchestras such the Berlin Philharmoniker, New York Philharmonic, Concertgebouw, London Symphony, English National Opera, Halle and CBSO.

The opportunity for student conductors to practise and develop their craft with some of the Northwest’s excellent nonprofessional orchestras is a valuable part of their time in Manchester. This concert showcases two of these students.
