A raw and savage comedy talent. No subject is sacrosanct, no topic too controversial. He is a regular on the world comedy circuit, performing in places as far-flung as Jakata and Hull. He acted alongside Liam Neeson in the film, 'Michael Collins' and occasionally he brings together his love of poetry with his stand-up routine.
Owen O'Neill tour dates
A veteran of the comedy circuit and a regular at Jongleurs and The Comedy Store, described variously as 'far-fetched and semi-dangerous' and 'silly and daft'. Watch out for his bizarre mixture of stand up and song, including his one string electric squash racquet! His 'songs' are jokes that rhyme, set to a guitar backbeat and cover topics from love and hate, to sex and politics. With a totally original voice he delivers his material with charm and irrelevance.
'... the amiable Pierre Hollins with his compelling chatty style and absurd guitar posturing... With a totally original voice he delivers his material with charm and irrelevance...' (Funhouse Comedy).
Pierre Hollins tour dates
Former teacher and 'deadpan multimedia-ist'. He was nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2012 for his debut solo show Spontaneous Comedian. David offers up high energy commentary on celebrity culture and topical news stories using projection and an extremely effective frenetic style of video editing.
Alongside his flourishing stand-up career David has also starred in ‘Nick Helm’s Heavy Entertainment’ for BBC Three and has appeared on ‘Live At The Electric’ (BBC Three) and Channel 4’s ‘50 Funniest Moments’ of 2012, 2013 and 2014.
'A creator of bold, category-defying comedy' (The Stage)
'His performances are intense, fearless and original' (LondonIsFunny)
'One of the most talked-about people in comedy right now' (The Guardian)
'His meticulous deconstruction and righteous exasperation makes him a master of the genre...' (Chortle)
'Perfect comedy' (Three Weeks).
