Asian Network Comedy: 50 Years of BBC Asian Programmes
Asian Network Comedy is back with a special night to celebrate 50 Years of BBC Asian programmes.
Tommy Sandhu hosts a unique evening of comedy in Birmingham supported by a stellar line up of talent including; Shaista Aziz, Aditi Mittal with Tez Ilyas and Guz Khan. Both talents featured in Asian Network’s collaboration with iPlayer for a series of British-Muslim Comedy broadcast earlier this year.
From learning how to switch on a light to the first ever Bollywood quiz show, laugh along as they take you on a personal journey through this incredible BBC archive back in the city of Birmingham where BBC Asian programmes began life back in the mid 1960s.
