Tyla's Dogs D'amour

Tyla's Dogs D'amour appearing at this event

The Dogs D'Amour were unleashed onto an unsuspecting and somewhat mediocre UK music scene during the mid 1980s. With their ramshackle pirate-meets-Dickens style, they pioneered a unique mixture of glam punk and stonesy rock n roll. They sang songs about sweet sorrows and told torrid tales of destruction - all perpetuated by their 'do-or-die' attitude. The band went on hiatus in 2002, but lead singer Tyla has kept the Dogs alive, working as a soloist writing and releasing new material.

The Main Grains

The Main Grains appearing at this event

Featuring Danny McCormack of Wildhearts fame, The Main Grains are quality purveryors of Northern Punk Rock with seriously bad a** riffage, shout and reply choruses with a Power Pop edge. A melting pot of influences ranging from the Ramones, Blondie, Cheap Trick, Stooges and Wildhearts to Phil Spector.
