Thoroughly Modern Millie
Birmingham Ormiston Academy's acclaimed musical theatre course presents a new production of the classic American musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie.
It's the 1920s, the height of the Jazz Age, when moderns were bobbing their hair, raising their hemlines and rewriting the rules of love. Feisty Kansas girl Millie moves to the Big Apple to find a job and marry a rich man. She samples the thoroughly modern life, makes friends and finds unexpected romance.
This high-spirited musical romp is filled with jazzy numbers, glitz and glamour.
