Punch Records - Homelands

Homelands celebrates the influence of the parental heritage of four contemporary UK based black artists.

Exploring how their heritage has impacted on them as people and artists, Homelands follows journeys to the motherlands of grime MC Saskilla (Senegal), R&B Mercury Music nominee Terri Walker (Jamaica), producer Diztortion (Suriname) and MOBO Award winning R&B singer Shakka (Dominica).

Homelands features a special film screening of each artist's journey, as well as the debut performance of a specially commissioned track which was composed, performed and produced throughout the residency in each country.

Expect some special guests from each of the respective home countries, and an insight into what really makes an artist with various cultural inputs tick.
