Bonnie Prince Billy

Alternative singer-songwriter Bonnie Prince Billy (aka Will Oldham) is at the forefront of the nu-folk revival. Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, he has also performed and recorded under the names of Palace, Palace Music, Palace Brothers, Palace Songs and Bonny Billy amongst others. His illusive nature and the breadth of his songwriting talent – which evokes everything from running off with fireman’s wives to dark deeds in America’s Deep South – have made his name as an inspiring and gifted musician. Having worked and recorded with the likes of Pajo, Joanna Newsom, Tortoise, PJ Harvey and the legendary Johnny Cash, Bonnie Prince Billy has made his name as the prince of modern American folk.
