Created by Dan Longley, dance caller for Birmingham’s The Burdock Band, CStomp! is an afternoon of folk dancing for the public to participate in.

Using dances drawn from the ceilidh and barn dance traditions, visitors will be encouraged to have a go. The aim is to explore the social and health benefits of folk dancing. The DJ/caller will introduce the dances and show everybody the moves.

Using upbeat dance tracks from eclectic sources and genres, the dances are especially designed for non-dancers to get fit without the usual pain of a cardiovascular workout.

Families are particularly welcome at this event and Midlands Face Painting will be at hand to help people get in the mood.
