Layla Tutt is one third of Birmingham based three-piece 'The Phlox of Pink'. Inspired by Old Grey Whistle tests, Woodstock festivals, Zeppelin, Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Thin Lizzy and CSNY, she is a skilful songstress, fashioning tunes to groove to, tunes to move you.

A lover of assonance and dissonance, she is thrilled by rhythm and rhyme - it’s the hand that dances the one to watch.

With her distinctive percussive ‘strum and bass’ style; ferocious, driving guitar strings and haunting, ethereal vocals she’ll pluck and pull at the heartstrings, spark up the spirit and soothe the soul.

Lines will linger and melodies will remain on the tips of your tongues.
