Katy Rose Bennett

Local songwriter Katy Rose Bennett (formerly known as KTB) plays a special show to launch her new album 'Songs of the River Rea'.

Born and raised in rural Oxfordshire, she has lived in Birmingham, near the River Rea, for over a decade. With influences including Gillian Welch, Dory Previn and Nick Drake, Katy has released three self-penned albums, as KTB, to critical acclaim: “A sophisticated mix of folk, jazz pop and rustica” (The Independent).

The new album is a beautiful collection of songs telling stories of life in the UK’s second city – songs on the themes of connection, memory, love and loss. Ticket price includes a CD copy of the new album.
