While 2013’s Bright Mainland was technically Jenny Ritter’s debut solo album, as guitarist and song-writer for critically-acclaimed Canadian roots country band The Gruff, in ten years they put out four albums.

With two successful solo albums now released, her songs remind us of the beautiful things in life and while personal, also paint a picture of the vibrant community she has around her. They are mercilessly catchy, and you'll be glad they end up rattling around your head.

Tonight, accompanied by her formidable acoustic trio, she makes her debut at The Kitchen Garden fresh from a main stage show at Celtic Connections.
