The Sinfonia of Birmingham is making its début at the Ruddock Centre with a programme marked by a rich variety of texture and mood. Under the baton of Mike Seal, Steve Doman will perform Walton’s lyrical Viola Concerto.
The concert opens with Ravel’s elegiac homage to François Couperin and ends with Sibelius’ impassioned 6th and one movement 7th symphonies.
