Birmingham Classical - Haydn And Brahms
The outstanding Amsterdam-based Amatis Trio is already established as one of the most strikingly relevant new ensembles on the European scene. Now ECHO Rising Stars and BBC New Generation Artists, they visit Birmingham for the first time to breathe new life into Haydn, Shostakovich and Brahms, as well as a new commission by Swedish composer Andrea Tarrodi.
Amatis Trio is nominated by Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Kölner Philharmonie, Konzerthaus Dortmund and Elbphilharmonie Hamburg as an ECHO Rising Star.
