BBC Music Day 2016 - In The West Midlands
BBC Music Day is a UK wide annual celebration of music that aims to unite communities across different generations. Gospel Queen Ruby Turner and a choral Flash Mob will delight commuters with a special performance at Birmingham’s New Street Station. The whole station will be ‘on board’ with even the tannoy announcements marking this special event. The event will be live on BBC Radio 2 at 9:45am.
Ruby will lead a 30 strong Gospel Choir and band at Birmingham’s busy station courtesy of the flagship BBC music programme, Songs of Praise, to be shown on BBC One on Sunday 5 June.
