From New York via Berlin, the brilliant singer Judy Niemack performs brand new student arrangements of selected Thelonious Monk tunes, inspired by the classic Carmen McRae record Carmen Sings Monk.

This is a unique chance to hear the lyrics to Monk’s tunes by Jon Hendricks, Abbey Lincoln and by Judy herself in a big band setting, showcasing the arranging talents of our students.
