Birmingham Conservatoire Guitar Fest 2015

A mini guitar fest crammed into one day! Highlights of the day will include recitals by the Junior and Senior Conservatoire, former students Dan Bovey and Julian Vickers, and the dynamic Vida Guitar Quartet.

Brian Whitehouse (Birmingham Guitar Centre) and the fabulous guitar maker Oren Myers will be giving talks along with informal masterclasses by our own Head of Guitar, Mark Ashford and Andrew Gough from the Junior Conservatoire. This event is not to be missed for anyone interested in the guitar.

1:00pm: Lunchtime Recital by the Junior and Senior Conservatoire
2:30pm: Talk by Brian Whitehouse – Tárrega-Leckie Manuscripts
3:30pm: Masterclass with Mark Ashford and Andrew Gough
5:00pm: Talk and demonstration on guitar building by Oren Myers
7;30pm: Recital by the Vickers Bovey Guitar Duo and the Vida Guitar Quartet
