Songwriting Workshop
In this workshop, Robb Johnson talks about songwriters and songwriting, with examples of some of the stories he has turned into song. Personal stories, public stories, historical and contemporary events, true stories, imagined stories.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop their songwriting skills in two practical sessions, folk-processing some popular traditional songs, and then turning a story of their choice into a song, and/or listening to work by some of Robb’s favourite songwriters.
