The Kar-Pets are an Inspiral Carpets tribute band, but with a notable difference from other tribute bands in that the Kar-Pets feature the former lead singer of the Inspirals, Tom Hingley. Tom was a member of the Inspiral Carpets from 1989 to 2011 and sang on all the bands many chart hits as well as singing on four of their albums.
With Tom Hingley at the helm the Kar-Pets are made up of Dickon on farfisa duties, Phil on guitar, Ste on bass and Malc on drums.
The Kar-Pets will be performing songs from the 30+ years of the Inspiral Carpets including the hits, such as This Is How It Feels, Dragging Me Down and Saturn Five as well as a selection of cover versions such as Gimme Shelter and Tainted Love
