In December 2018, having just recovered from Bowel Cancer, Robin Drysdale and four friends set off to row 3000 miles across the Atlantic for charity.

Expecting to spend up to 50 days on a 30 foot boat in waves the size of houses, the challenge was not expected to be easy. Blisters, sunburn, sleep deprivation, whales and dolphins all played their part in their crossing. Robin, a rower from Berwickshire, shares the highs and lows of his journey, and the lessons they learned from the experience.
