Belfast Pride Fundraiser

Friday July 31 will see a stellar line-up of talent at Belfast's Oh Yeah Centre, in support of Belfast Pride 2015.

The event will see the debut of Tour Alaska, a new project from A Plastic Rose's charismatic frontman Gerry Norman. Having released two albums, toured across Europe and played on bills with the likes of Biffy Clyro and The Rolling Stones, it's fair to say that Norman has more than earned his reputation. Now calling on his softer side, 'Tour Alaska' sees Norman dip back into his Damien Rice-influenced beginnings. Long time fans will look to the likes of 'Indian Sheets' and 'Poems and Harmonies' as proof that this is a show not to be missed.

Also on the bill is Hot Cops. Fresh from slots at this year’s Radio One's Big Weekend in Norwich and Belfast's own Spectrum Festival, this is a band with exciting prospects. Also playing is the supremely talented Sister Ghost, featuring Shannon Delores O'Neill, formerly of Vanilla Gloom. Joining her on the night comes Jealous of the Birds, AKA Naomi Hamilton, whose debut, bedroom tape-styled EP has drawn comparison's to SOAK and received critical acclaim from the likes of Radio One's Phillip Taggart and the hugely respected producer Rocky O'Reilly.
