Greatest Hits Tour: Wet Wet Wet + Blue
Bursting onto the scene in 1987, Wet Wet Wet are now set to tour the UK in December 2013. Starting the tour in Dublin, 02 on Thursday 5th December and ending in their hometown of Glasgow at Hydro on Thursday 19th December.
With an incredible back catalogue of songs including three UK No. 1's – 'With A Little Help' From My Friends' (1988); 'Goodnight Girl' (1991); and 'Love Is All Around' (1994)', the Glasgow lads have made an incredible impact with their music over the years and are ready to hit the road and tour again.
The band, Graeme Clark, Tommy Cunningham, Neil Mitchell and Marti Pellow have sold in excess of 15 million singles and albums to date, featured in the UK official singles and album charts for an immense 508 weeks, they have played to more than four million people in over 25 countries around the world.
Blue will be joining Wet Wet Wet as Special Guests.
This event takes place at SSE Arena, Belfast, which has achieved Bronze Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
80s pop sensations, Glaswegian quartet Wet Wet Wet had a meteoric rise to fame and success from humble beginnings. Renowned for their brilliant soulful ballads, perfectly hand crafted songs and exceptional live performances, the Wet's went on to sell in excess of 15 million records, enjoying three number one hit records; With a Little Help From My Friends, Goodnight Girl and Love Is All Around from the film Four Weddings And A Funeral which spent a staggering 15 weeks at the number one position.
Wet Wet Wet tour dates
A four-piece boy band with a more aggressive edge than most. Formed in the summer of 2000, Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe shot to the top of the charts with all their releases and won 'Best Newcomer' award at the 2001 Smash Hits Poll Winners Awards and at the 2002 Brit Awards. The boys went their separate ways in 2005 to pursue solo careers, but have since reformed due to huge demand from their loyal fanbase.
