Eric Bogle comes out of retirement for a short run of personal appearances in this year, the Centenary of The Somme.


His anti-war songs 'No Man's Land' (also known as 'The Green Fields Of France' or 'Willie McBride') and 'The Band Played Waltzing Matilda' have become engrained in foklore, and many of his compositions have been recorded by Irish artists including Mary Black and Finbar Furey.

Born in Peebles, Scotland during WW2, Eric emmigrated to Australia in 1969. On this short visit to Europe he will be accompanied by his long time Australian musical associates John Munro and Peter Kitchener.
