Kurt Jackson: Place

This exhibition sees one of the Southwest's most acclaimed artists collaborating with over 30 writers from a diverse range of backgrounds. After they contributed texts on their favourite places, the artist visited each location to create the artworks for the show. The exhibition and accompanying book reveal the diversity of the British landscape, whilst providing an insight into the concept of ‘place’ – that collective sense of identity, meaning, longing and nostalgia present within the British psyche.

Complementing the Place exhibition, is a group of smaller paintings of Glastonbury Festival which will be for sale in aid of Greenpeace.
