Roderick Williams, winner this year of a coveted Royal Philharmonic Society Award, has recently been focussing much of his attention on Schubert. Tonight, in what promises to be a highlight of the Mozartfest week, he is joined by the master-accompanist Roger Vignoles in the late song cycle Winter Journey, one of the great peaks of the song repertoire. After the performance, there will be an opportunity for audience members to put questions to the artists.
